Hannah Giles Exposed Misleading Project Veritas Board on Multimillionaire Donor's Role in Lawsuit

"I was never part of a class action lawsuit against the Veritas board of directors, and I never talked with any of the people bringing the lawsuit... I told Hannah that I would not be joining the class action, but I wasn’t on her side either... I wasn't in her camp." - Mitzi Perdue

Former undercover prostitute-clad Acorn journalist and currently embattled Project Veritas CEO Hannah Giles is being called out by multimillionaire philanthropist, author, war correspondent, and dedicated anti-child sex trafficking advocate Mitzi Perdue for comments Giles made in a secretly recorded board meeting alleging Perdue had taken a leadership role in organizing a donor-fueled class action lawsuit against Project Veritas in response to the ousting of former CEO James O'Keefe from the company. In email correspondences with Sage Ops seeking comment, Ms. Perdue acknowledged the conversation took place and disavowed Gile's comments, "I did talk with Hannah Giles, but I didn’t say I was organizing a class action law suit [sic]." She continued, "I was never part of a class action lawsuit against the Veritas board of directors, and I never talked with any of the people bringing the lawsuit." Giles' comments didn't end there though, she further informed the board she was not only able to stop Ms.Perdue from filing the class action lawsuit but that she was able to get Mitzi to actively go around and correct the narrative on James O'keefe's apparent behavior and Project Veritas. "I didn’t do anything to stop it [the lawsuit] since I didn’t even know who was bringing it," Perdue responded, "I told Hannah that I would not be joining the class action, but I wasn’t on her side either... I wasn't in her camp." Lastly, Perdue, a syndicated columnist for 22 years told us, "I do write about combatting child trafficking, I would have been open to additional outlets for stories I write." A short while later in the meeting, when asked by a board member what were the biggest recurring problems she was experiencing with big donors, Giles, the consummate opportunist responded, "Known board dysfunction." Can't help when the CEO is misleading said board.

HANNAH GILES, PROJECT VERITAS CEO
Mitzi Perdue was getting ready to file a class action against Project Veritas for suing James in federal court. And, I called…
JOHN GARVEY, PROJECT VERITAS BOARD MEMBER
On his behalf you mean? Suing on James' behalf?

HANNAH GILES, PROJECT VERITAS CEO
Well, she was going to, no she had several other donors, they’d gotten together to file a class action against us.

JOHN GARVEY, PROJECT VERITAS BOARD MEMBER
Oh.
HANNAH GILES, PROJECT VERITAS CEO
And, donors because they didn't want their funds being used to go after James.

JOHN GARVEY, PROJECT VERITAS BOARD MEMBER
Ah ha.

HANNAH GILES, PROJECT VERITAS CEO
And I was able to not only stop the class action but get her to actively go around and correct the narrative on James' behavior and on us.

/// GEORGE SKAKEL, PROJECT VERITAS BOARD MEMBER
Are you having any particular problems or recurring problems, any theme that you're seeing from big donors?

HANNAH GILES, PROJECT VERITAS CEO
I am. The biggest problem is the known board dysfunction since James' narrative amongst donors and in the movement. And, you know Matthew [Tyrmand] and you know, his status within the movement, they just know that it's tense.

And so they wish that was sorted out and resolved. They do not like the federal lawsuit against James. They wish that we could all get along and there was some sort of resolution.

And they also, some of the donors that somehow know that I'm only an interim CEO that makes them very uncomfortable. So, they absolutely love me and they're excited. And then when they find out that I could be gone by August, that makes them hesitant. And so some of them have said, well, I'll pledge this much but I'm going to hold my check until your status within the organization solidifies. And until you make peace with James.

Mitzi is eager to reengage with us on anything that has to do with child sex trafficking. So we're, the team is, I mean, they've already been doing the Flash story but they’re also working on new angles. They're leaning on my network also for additional angles with anti-child-rape-slavery arena. And Mitzi wants to help us with that not only financially but also publishing.
