Sexualized Education Part 1: Psych Tests, Sex Dolls, and Groping

For years, a 7th-grade science teacher at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School (LCBMS), located in Yorktown Heights N.Y., has been having his 11 & 12 year-old students take a personality test that reveals their strengths and weaknesses as well as their ‘romantic’ tendencies. Other class assignments given to the students by this teacher included links to The Best Sex Dolls, Best Sex Toys, Best Penis Pumps, Penis Extenders, Birth Control, On-line Therapy, and more. Mother Fights Back After discovering her son’s 7th-grade class had been given multiple sexually inappropriate assignments during the school year (2022-23), a Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School mother, unsatisfied with LCBMS Principal Ruolo's handling of her concerns – most notably his refusal to notify other parents of these inappropriate assignments – covertly recorded a meeting with both Principal Ruolo and the teacher, Steve Trinkle. The meeting took place on June 5, 2023, at Lakeland Copper Beech Middle School in Yorktown Heights which is part of the Lakeland Central School District, located in Shub Oak, NY. 1. Personality / Psychological Tests for Kids The first assignment discussed in the video is a ‘personality test,’ or psychological test that the teacher assigned the students to complete on a third-party website at the beginning of the school year (September 2022).

The personality test website explicitly states ‘children under 13 aren’t allowed to use our website’ and an article posted on teh site entitled, 'Why Shouldn't Children Take Our Personality Test?' explains why children should not be given personality tests.

Based on their answers to 60 questions, each of the children was categorized as 1 of 16 personality types, generating a profile of each child’s traits and behaviors–including strengths, weaknesses, and more concerning, romantic (or love/sexual) tendencies. Most of the students in the class were ages 11 and 12 years old at the time.

The principal told the mother the school district blocked the personality test website from its servers the same day she first complained about it in September, making it inaccessible to not just middle schoolers but high schoolers as well.

The principal also confided in the mother that this specific teacher had been assigning the personality test to his classes in “years past” increasing the number of students whose behavioral (including romantic) tendencies were potentially profiled by this teacher into the multiple of hundreds.

The principal told the mother the teacher didn’t notice the ‘Romantic Relationships’ tab on the website in prior years and that it was not there to the best of his recollection. The above claim made by the principal on behalf of the teacher is fact-checked in the video as false. YouTube users posting the results of their personality test results from this website show that 'Romantic Relationships' has been part of the site and the results there since at least 2017.

2. How the Muscular System Works
The second assignment discussed is a video describing how the muscular system works that appears on a YouTube channel that is an educational resource for 18-year-olds and older.

The video assigned by the teacher equates the way the muscular system works to “middle schoolers at a formal dance,” who desperately want to do some “heavy petting” and “groping” of each other, and it talks about “pent-up frustration” that explodes at “go time.” The conclusion? The only sexier than how the muscle system works “is sex.”

3. Studying Body Systems
Finally, the mother reveals yet a third assignment, directly from her son’s school-issued Chromebook, that contained sexually explicit media and was given to the students as a study resource for the ‘Body Systems.’

The website's Privacy Policy states that it is for those 18 years and older and warns "If you are a child, please exit this site immediately."

This site publishes articles and reviews of The Best Sex Dolls, Best Sex Toys, Best Penis Pumps, Penis Extenders, Birth Control, On-line Therapy, Dietary Supplements, and more (which were linked on the same page as the ‘Body Systems’ assignment given to the students).

The school district blocked each website in each of the three cases upon the mother's objections. Still, they refused to notify the parents of the students about the personality test and sexually explicit content the teacher assigned in each instance as well. Children's Online Privacy Protection
When the students visited these websites certain identifying information, through the use of ‘cookies,’ was collected and stored by the websites as well as third-party sites that provide analytics, like Google, without parental consent.

In the United States, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) imposes certain requirements on operators of websites or online services directed to children under 13 years of age, and on operators of other websites or online services that have actual knowledge that they are collecting personal information online from a child under 13 years of age.
